Kids and Teens: Books, Websites, and more

Teen Help Needed

We added a new Teen/Young Adult area when we remodeled our library.  The Director is looking to build a Teen Advisory Group to help with book selection and in developing some teen programs for the library.  If you are interested please call Eileen Bell M-W at the library 830-232-5199.

Update:  Our first meeting was held on Monday, May 2nd and we could use two more members.  I am still looking for someone from Home School and Big Springs also.  We are currently reviewing titles submitted for the grant to the Texas Book Festival which awarded us $1,000 to purchase new young adult titles.  We are also adding more titles to complete our purchase so if you have any additional requests drop a line to the main library email.
